Heavenly Gluten-free Cacao Macadamia Brownies

Brownie lovers this one is for you! Our Heavenly Gluten-free Cacao Macadamia Brownies are unlike any brownie you have tried before (in all of the right ways). These brownies are rich, creamy and full nourishment. Oh, and the best part is - no cooking is required, helping to keep all nutrients intact. 

 

Makes 12 brownies 

Ingredients

1 cup roasted (or raw macadamias)

1 cup almond meal

20 pitted medjool dates

1/2 cup raw cacao powder

1/3 cup Ceremony Cacao blend

1 tbsp coconut oil

1/3 tsp sea salt

 

Chocolate Ganache Frosting:

1 cup cashews, soaked for 2-4 hours

1 cup coconut cream

1/3 cup coconut oil, melted

2 tbsp maple syrup or raw honey

1/3 cup Ceremony Cacao Blend

1/2 tsp vanilla

Pinch of sea salt

 

Method

1. Place all ingredients for the brownie in a food processor. Blend until all ingredients sticks together. Press the dough out into a liner tin using your fingers. Even out the edges with the backside of a tablespoon and set aside.

2. Add all ingredients for the chocolate ganache frosting to a high speed blender and blend until completely smooth.

3. Spread the frosting over the brownie. Place the in the freezer to set, for at least 4 hours.

4. Decorate with macadamias and edible flowers before serving if desired.
